Yesterday’s Medical Research Projects are Today’s Treatments and Cures
Without medical research, advances in diagnosis and treatment would not occur. In recognition of this, the Royal Perth Hospital Medical Research Foundation was established in 1983, with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare available to all West Australians.
Reflecting the important work of the Foundation, a number of our research teams have received prestigious and highly competitive grants from outside bodies.
Whilst the Medical Research Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, it maintains a close association with Royal Perth Hospital to ensure all funds are utilised effectively.
